  • Flight Duration: There are no direct flights from India to Bhutan except from select cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Bagdogra to Paro International Airport. The average flight duration is around 2–3 hours depending on the departure city. Road entry is also possible through Phuentsholing, Gelephu, and Samdrup Jongkhar.

Your journey to Bhutan starts upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, where breathtaking views of the Himalayas will greet you. Following immigration procedures, proceed to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city. Along the way, take in scenic valleys, rivers, and classic Bhutanese villages. After breakfast, go on a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu to start off your trip to Bhutan. See one of the biggest Buddha statues in the world, Buddha Dordenma, then the National Folk Heritage Museum, Memorial Chorten, and Tashichho Dzong. See the traditional Bhutanese art schools and the local artisan market afterwards. Stay in Thimphu for the night.
