How to Reach:
- By Air: The nearest airport to Spiti is Bhuntar Airport (near Kullu), about 245 km from Kaza. Alternatively, you can fly to Chandigarh or Shimla and continue your journey by road.
- By Road: Spiti is mainly accessible by two scenic routes – Manali to Spiti via Rohtang Pass & Kunzum Pass (open May–October) and Shimla to Spiti via Kinnaur Valley (open almost all year, depending on weather). Self-drive, cabs, and Himachal Roadways buses are popular options.
- By Train: The closest railway station is Joginder Nagar (approx. 360 km), but most travelers prefer Chandigarh or Shimla railway stations for better connectivity, followed by a road trip.

Your Spiti adventure begins as you arrive in Manali, the gateway to the Himalayas. After checking into your hotel, enjoy the fresh mountain breeze while strolling Mall Road and neighbourhood cafés in the evening. Return to Manali for the night.
After breakfast,drive to Kaza, the centre of the Spiti Valley. The trip passes across the magnificent Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass, which provide breathtaking views of valleys, snow-capped peaks, and glaciers. Get to Kaza in the evening and settle into your hotel room. Spent the night in Kaza.
On the 3rd day of your spirit trip, explore some of the most iconic places in Spiti. Visit the known Key Monastery, one of the largest and oldest Tibetan monasteries. After that, proceed to Kibber Village, which is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and elevated location. Evening free to enjoy the serene vibes of Kaza. Spent the night in Kaza.
After breakfast, take a trip to Tabo Monastery, which is referred to be the "Ajanta of the Himalayas" due to its historic frescoes and murals. Proceed to the beautifully situated Dhankar Monastery, which offers sweeping views of the valley. Go back to Kaza and spend the night there.
Today, set out on an excursion to Pin Valley National Park, famous for its wildlife, rare Himalayan plants, and stunning landscapes. If lucky, you may spot blue sheep, Himalayan ibex, or even the elusive snow leopard (in winters). Return to Kaza by evening. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Take a full-day trip to the high-altitude towns of Spiti. Visit Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, Komik, one of the highest motorable communities, and Langza, famous for its gigantic Buddha statue and fossil collecting. Go back to Kaza and spend the night there.
After breakfast,Drive to the ethereal Chandratal Lake (Moon Lake), one of the highlights of any vacation to the Spiti Valley. Renowned for its crescent shape and pristine waters, the lake is an ideal location for astronomy, camping, and photography. Spend the night at the Chandratal camp.
Bid farewell to Spiti as you drive back to Manali via Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass. Carry unforgettable memories of monaste+ries, valleys, and high-altitude adventures as you continue your onward journey.
